Men's Mental Health Week in June is an important time to pause, reflect, and keep the conversation going. It's about creating spaces where we can talk openly about well-being and remind each other that mental health is just as important as physical health.
To help us mark the occasion, we caught up with our Member of the Month (who also happens to be one of our amazing team members) Myles Emmerick.
Myles is a familiar face around the centre, leading by example and taking full advantage of our facilities every single day to support his physical and mental well-being. Balancing work and family life can be demanding, but Myles has found a healthy routine to bridge the gap between the two.
Here is what he had to share about his daily routine:
"After work, I head to the gym and pool to relax, recover, and reset after a busy day. It gives me the chance to recharge before heading home for dad duties. It helps me maintain a positive mindset and keeps me fit and healthy to support my lifestyle."
We absolutely love seeing our team prioritise their health and well-being. It is incredibly inspiring for both our male staff and our health club members to see one of our own making the most of the gym facilities to maintain a healthy headspace.
Keep up the fantastic work, Myles!
