Moss Vale War Memorial Aquatic Centre has some exciting upcoming renovations underway that were made possible after the centre received $589,000 as part of the NSW Government’s Regional Sports Facility Fund in 2021 and a further $260,000 contribution from Wingecarribee Shire Council.
We have had a lot of rain over the last few days so things have been quiet on the construction site however, work has begun on the baby change room and the allied health room. The pool deck window was removed and the area was boarded up and secured.
They have also begun working on the foundations of the group fitness room and have seen earth-moving equipment and cement trucks. The pilings have been bored out, and we hope to have the slab down soon, weather permitting. Hopefully, the weather will hold out for us!
