For the past five years Karen has been a dedicated member of the Moss Vale Aquatic Centre.
She regularly attends a range of our energetic group fitness classes, including boxing, pilates and spin.
When Karen isn’t at the centre, she can often be found spending time with her four daughters, out walking or snuggled down with a good book.
Karen always puts 110% effort into every exercise in her training regime. She is what we like to call an all-rounder as her training program consists of a balance between cardio and strength training. In addition to this, Karen always makes sure to complete her stretching before and after each session.
When asked what her favourite part of the centre was, she told us “Everybody is really nice and friendly. Everyone is happy and always welcoming!”
So, what advice would Karen give to others? “Don’t stress and just accept things as they come along. As you get older, you realise that you want to make the most of every day.”
Despite what they say about Karen’s, this one is different!
