A Shared Commitment to Health and Fitness
Long time fitness enthusiasts, Helen and Richard joined the health club with a clear goal: to maintain their strength, fitness, and quality of life as they stay active together.
They have both loved fitness for years, so continuing that journey to stay strong and support their wellbeing came naturally.
Workout Routines That Work
Their training styles reflect their individual preferences – and show there’s no one size fits all approach to staying fit.
- Richard enjoys starting his sessions on the bike, followed by a weights circuit to build and maintain muscle strength.
- Helen prefers the fun and movement of aqua aerobics, combining fitness with a social and supportive atmosphere in the water.
Beyond Fitness: Building Community
More than just a place to exercise, the health club has become a meaningful part of their lifestyle.
They’ve been regulars for a long time and truly value the social side of things. Building friendships, staying connected, and remaining active have all played an important role in their fitness journey.
Their Advice for New Members
Helen and Richard understand that starting out can be challenging, but their advice is simple and effective:
- Bring a friend to help you stay motivated. And most importantly, stay committed to yourself. Even on the days when you’re not feeling your best, show up – you’ll always feel better for it.
